Creston Christian Preschool
is committed to Christ-centered education.
This poem carries our purpose and the
meaning behind what we teach and why.
In Praise of Children
Lord, you have made these children as
varied as the flowers of a garden.
You have blessed each one uniquely.
And each fragile, growing child is infinitely
precious
in your sight.
You have trusted me to nurture them.
And blessed me with the joy of seeing
them grow.
Lord, I teach in reverence.

Our goals for preschool
are:
- To provide a secure and loving
environment for a child's development.
- To
develop a sense of wonder, appreciation,
and excitement for learning about God
and His world.
- To encourage each child
to develop his/her own creativity and
uniqueness by giving them the freedom
to try new ideas.
- To encourage activities
and experiences involving large and small
motor skills.
- To enhance the child’s
ability to express his thoughts verbally
and creatively.
- To establish a sense of
social responsibility by encouraging
cooperation and sensitivity to others.
- To develop a
positive attitude toward school and learning,
and to encourage good listening and work
habits.
- Above all, to develop an assurance
of God’s love for the child and
encourage a loving response to God and
other
