• Take the PSAT in October
• Research college choices
  • College fairs (October and March)
  • Helpful websites are located on our Helpful Websites page
  • Use PrepHQ (My Organizer) to file and keep information organized
  • College view books, pamphlets, catalogs, and handbooks in the Counseling Office
  • People—your counselor, parents, older siblings, and friends
  • Visit colleges
• Prepare for ACT—you may do any of these: take the Test Prep class here at school, ask your counselor for advice, use resources on the ACT website, attend classes or workshops, purchase books, or software materials
• Review your 4-year academic plan for graduation and college entrance requirements. Make adjustments with counselor if necessary
• Review your results of the PSAT if you took the test
• Take Michigan Merit Exam usually in March
• Consider taking or re-taking the ACT in June—WATCH the registration deadline
