September
- Pick up
college applications in the counseling
office or request college applications
from those colleges to which you are
interested in applying.
- Visit college
campuses.
- Register to take the October
SAT.
- Register to take the October
ACT if you have not taken it or want
to take it again.
- Register to take the
November SAT.
- Check Counseling Office
to see when college representatives
will be visiting GRCHS.
- Start your search
for private scholarships. Look into
possibilities such as your parent's
employers, local clubs and organizations.
- Use
days off from school to visit colleges.
October
- Complete
and send in college applications
- Attend
College Night programs.
- Take the SAT.
- Visit College Fairs.

- Respond to any requests for
information from college admission
and financial aid offices.

April
- Use spring break as a time to
visit those colleges that have accepted
you.
- Look over financial aid packages
and make decisions.
May
- Send in acceptance letter and
deposit to college of your choice by
May 1 and notify others that you will
not attend in the fall.
June
- Leave a request with the counseling
office to have your final transcript
sent to your college choice.
