Teacher Mark VanderWerf

This year we have the pleasure of hearing from Grand Rapids Christian High School’s Mark VanderWerf. Mark is a product of many Christian education institutions, including Unity Christian High School, Reformed Bible College, Cornerstone University and most recently Calvin College and Theological Seminary. After teaching for six years in California, he joined the staff at Grand Rapids Christian High in 2012 to teach Bible and Theology. Mark and his wife, Rachael, have three young boys who are just beginning their education at Grand Rapids Christian Elementary. You are invited to hear Rev. VanderWerf share why he is convinced that Christian education is an increasingly important component for our youth’s faith formation in the 21st century.

We are also pleased to have a special, sneak-peek performance from Grand Rapids Christian High Theatre Department’s Guys and Dolls.

There is no cost to attend. Click here to register by Monday, October 24.

Complimentary transportation is available to our guests from Holland Home Raybrook and Breton Woods campuses. To reserve your transport from either location, call Loreen Standel at 616.574.6022.

Watch the keynote address and the musical performance from the last Fles Society Luncheon here.
