POSITION TITLE: Spanish Immersion Educational Support Services (ESS) and Inclusion Services Aide
LOCATION
GRCES Iroquois
OVERVIEW
SCHEDULE: School-year, 15-20 hours weekly
REPORTS TO: Spanish Immersion Educational Support Services and Inclusion Coordinator
COORDINATES WITH: Building Principal, Assistant Principal, Support Staff, Classroom Teachers
POSITION SUMMARY
The SI ESS and Inclusion Services Aide will support students who receive targeted academic interventions and/or inclusion services.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist students in successfully completing individualized goals in the classroom
- Provide one-on-one support to students with accommodations and/or modifications
- Instruct small groups of students with targeted instruction
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 services
REQUIREMENTS
- Written and verbal fluency in the Spanish language
- Michigan Teaching Certificate preferred but not required
