POSITION TITLE: Kids Care Staff - Lead and Assistant Caregivers

BUILDING: Rockford Christian School

CONTRACT: Part-time 25-26 school-year, hourly

REPORTS TO: Preschool Director

COORDINATES WITH: Preschool Director and Kids Care Staff

POSITION SUMMARY

Rockford Christian School is seeking new employees to fill positions in our Kids Care Program. Kids Care is a licensed child care program at Rockford Christian School that provides quality before and after school care for our families during the school year. Applicants must meet licensing requirements and possess a deep commitment to Christian education.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide a safe environment for students before and after school hours.
• Plan, prepare, deliver, and participate in games, crafts, and activities with children
• Manage attendance
• Clean and organize the classroom daily
• Communication with parents

REQUIREMENTS

• A High School graduate
• Preferred to have a Early Childhood Credential and/or working towards a degree in a child-related field.
• Preferred CPR/First Aid Certified
• Complete and pass the state-required background check
• Complete required on-going training, if offered the position
