Non-Traditional Students
Policies and routines at GRCHS are predicated on the assumption of parent-school cooperation and shared parent/guardian-school authority. Therefore, particular policies are in effect for those who have altered ties with parent/guardian authority, or students whose particular home relationships vary from usual parent/guardian-child relationships.
-
Students who become married, are parents, or are parents-to-be must face new roles and responsibilities. In response, school policy requires that the student and/or family member inform school personnel of the changed situation.
-
Students must reside with a parent/guardian, or in a home approved by the parent/guardian.
-
The school retains the right to deny continued enrollment to students whose living arrangements are, in the judgment of the school, detrimental to the school.
