GRCHS Class of 2021:
Senior Sunday

Chloe Padilla

Name: Chloe Padilla

Favorite memory from GRCHS: Getting to travel to the Dominican Republic twice with two amazing Winterim teams and connecting with new people on the team/ people in the DR.

What advice would you give to younger students? It sounds cliche, but don't be afraid to branch out! Talk to people in your classes even (especially) if you don't know them too well. It feels awkward at first, but I've made some of my best friends by reaching out to them first.

What GRCS Portrait of a Graduate characteristic do you most identify with and why? Lifelong Explorers — I love meeting new people and traveling to new places! I'd love to continue doing both of those things in college as well!

Post-high school plans: Chloe will be attending Calvin University in the fall where she will be a part of the Artist Collaborative and plans to study spanish and design.

Meg VanAntwerp

Name: Meg VanAntwerp

Favorite memory from GRCHS: Winning the forensics state championship my sophomore year and getting pre-bid to state in forensics my senior year.

What advice would you give to younger students? Get involved as soon as you can. You don't have to stick with things if you don't like them, but don't be afraid to try things.

What GRCS Portrait of a Graduate characteristic do you most identify with and why? Justice Seekers — I've been blessed to go to a school where the administrators welcome student input in how the school is run. If I have a problem with something at school, I know I can go to the administrators and have a good conversation about what needs to change and trust the admin to follow through.

Post-high school plans: Meg plans on attending Calvin University and majoring in civil engineering with a minor in economics or political science.

Henry Peterson

Name: Henry Peterson

Favorite memory from GRCHS: The Winterim backpacking trip or the cross country barbecues.

What advice would you give to younger students? Get involved in sports and go to events.

Post-high school plans: Henry is undecided on where he will be going to college in the fall, but it will either be Michigan State University or Calvin University. He plans on majoring in business with an emphasis on supply chain management.
