Favorite memory from GRCHS: Forensics tournaments.

What advice would you give to younger students? Take difficult classes, push yourself academically. The growth matters more than the grades.

What GRCS Portrait of a Graduate characteristic do you most identify with and why? Justice Seeker.

Post-high school plans: Audrey plans to attend the University of Michigan in the fall to study public policy.

SeniorSunday_Annika Smits

Name: Annika Smits

Favorite memory from GRCHS: Going to state with the golf team this fall and the Spanish trip to Chicago last year.

What advice would you give to younger students? Don't be afraid to try something new, like a club or sport, you'll meet tons of great people and gain new skills that can help later on.

What GRCS Portrait of a Graduate characteristic do you most identify with and why? Creative Solution Finders because I often find myself being flexible and creative when tough situations occur.

Post-high school plans: Annika plans to attend the University of Michigan where she plans to major in art and design and study Spanish.

SeniorSunday_Kaitlyn Sterk

Name: Kaitlyn Sterk

Favorite memory from GRCHS: Gaining lasting friendships and new perspectives of the world through Winterim. Junior year I went on the "Europe’s Greatest Cities" trip, and sophomore year I went to The Island School in the Bahamas which is where I knew for sure that I wanted to work in marine conservation and was able to get involved in research!

What advice would you give to younger students? Don’t be afraid to talk to new people! Also get involved in school spirit (hallway decorating for spirit week is my personal favorite)!

What GRCS Portrait of a Graduate characteristic do you most identify with and why? Lifelong Explorer.

Post-high school plans: In the fall, Kaitlyn will be attending Michigan State University where she will be majoring in Zoology with a concentration in Marine Biology with a double minor in Marine Ecosystems Management and Environmental and Sustainability Studies.
