How long have you been working at GRCS?
5 years

Give a brief overview of your family life, educational and/or career history.
I grew up in Honduras.  I studied at the university and got my teaching degree.  I moved to Michigan in 2012. My wife and I have two beautiful children (Mia and Micah).

What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is building relationships with the students I serve. I also enjoy being part of their spiritual and academic growth. 

Of all your time at GRCS, what special projects are you most proud of?
My favorite projects are iXplore and participating in Zoo Week with the 5th graders.

Are there any extracurricular activities you lead or assist with?
I coach soccer for the 5th/6th-grade boy's team. 

Anything silly or interesting you would like to share?
I have ridden on a pig.

Which Portrait of a Graduate characteristic do you relate to most within your role, and why? Or, which characteristic do you try and exemplify most and why? 
The characteristic that I relate to the most is the Thoughtful Neighbor because I'm always willing to help and serve others.  I have empathy for those around me and I think of others before myself.
