GRCS 2022 Annual Meeting Results

2022 Annual Meeting Vote Results

The Board of Trustees hosted its 2022 Annual Meeting on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. The purpose of the meeting was to present, review, and answer questions on the proposed 2022-2023 budget and to present the slate of Board Nominees, answer questions about how and why they were selected, and elect them to fill vacancies for board term 2022-2025.

The slate of board nominees the Membership was asked to approve are:

  1. Jonathan Kok
  2. Jamie Kuiper
  3. Christopher TerVeen

In addition to board and central administrative team members, 12 parents attended this year's meeting.  The results of the vote were certified on behalf of the Board of Trustees on Friday, February 25, 2022. The total number of votes cast is summarized below and includes both ballots cast in person at the meeting itself and absentee ballots received prior to the meeting.

Proposed 2022-23 Budget

  • Yes:  204
  • No:  2

Proposed Board Nominees

  • Yes:  171
  • No:  32

The GRCS' Membership's overwhelming approval of the proposed budget and three board nominees allows the Board and administrative team to continue planning for the start of another great year for our students!  Thanks to everyone who cast their ballot and to all for your prayers and support throughout the current year. Blessings to you as we enter the Spring season and move forward with our planning to welcome students, parents, and staff back on August 17, 2022!
