Let's celebrate our last Friday in school with a SPIRIT WEAR DAY!  Staff and students are invited to wear GRCS wear.  Wear blue, wear black, wear your favorite Eagles gear!

News from Mrs. Bolt and the EV Library 📚

Things are wrapping up in the library next week!  This is the last week for Eagle Book Award. We will be reading The Cat Man of Aleppo and Swashby and the Sea for our final 2 Eagle Award nominee titles.  And we will be voting on Friday in technology class for the winner!  So if you were trying for Eagle expert, you have one more week to read and rate! Please see click here to read more about how to participate in the Eagle Book Award.

Also, please look under beds, on shelves, or under the couch for any missing library books that may be hiding. I need all the library books returned this week.  Hopefully yesterday your child came home with a list of items they still have checked out.  Thanks for your help with locating and returning materials.

Evergreen Chapel and Fifth Grade Graduation 🎓

Evergreen staff and students will be having our special end-of-year chapel—graduation on the last day of school. Although this is usually an open chapel, at this time we are only allowing 5th-grade students to invite 2 guests to be at this special chapel—graduation ceremony. We will continue to practice all covid safety protocols (health screenings, masks, social distancing) while gathering outside for worship. Team 3 parents please see your classroom blog for more information on this annual chapel and graduate celebration.

Lost and Found 👕

We have a handful of items in our Lost and Found. Please click this link to view photos of lost and found items. If you see something that belongs to your child, email Carrie at cdoezema@grcs.org and the item will be sent home with your child. Any unclaimed items will be donated at the end of the school year.

Water bottles💧 and Masks 😷

Please continue to send a water bottle and masks to school with your student(s).  Bottled water and disposable masks are flying off the shelves in the school office. Please help your student remember these essential items in the morning.
