Weather Reminders 🌧
It has been very rainy this fall and the temperatures are dropping! Please remember to send weather-appropriate outdoor clothing with your students each day. We go outside to play in all kinds of weather. Raincoats and boots and soon winter coats and boots will all help to keep your student stay comfortable and dry during outdoor recesses.
Evergreen 5th Grade Students and Parents — Save the Date
Focus On Your Future will be happening at 7:00 pm on Monday, November 29th at Grand Rapids Christian Middle School. This night is a great opportunity for 5th-grade Evergreen students and their parents to learn more about Grand Rapids Christian Middle School and become familiar with the campus. The 6th Grade teaching team will introduce Evergreen students to GRCMS and Principal Sara Seth will end the night by giving a building tour. A dessert buffet will be served. The event begins at 7:00 pm and will be held in Village Square. We hope you will join us! Look for an invitation arriving soon with the link to RSVP.
Expedition Kindergarten is Coming!
Attention Parents of preschoolers who will be 5 by September 1, 2022!
We have a night planned just for you – Expedition Kindergarten! Join us on Tuesday, November 30, at 6:30 pm for a special virtual expedition and see some of the exciting places you will visit in kindergarten. Meet the teachers who will guide you next year, get a sneak peek at several kindergarten activities, and discover the enriching environment known as kindergarten.

COVID Awareness
- Students should stay home from school if anyone in their household is waiting on COVID test results.
- PLEASE keep the school office informed of absences, symptoms, and test results.
- Thank you for keeping your kids home when they have cold-like symptoms!

To celebrate this great achievement, Iroquois and Evergreen will have a Super Hero Dress Up Day on November 19. Students are invited to dress as the superheroes that they are! More details to follow next week.
