1st Semester Exams 📝
Please Note: Monday Dec. 16 will be a 40 min. all class schedule with NO LATE START.
First Semester exams are Tuesday, December 17 — Friday, December 20. Two exams are scheduled each day.
- The first exam begins at 8:00 am. Students must stay in the classroom until at least 9:15 and may stay until 9:30.
- The second exam of the day begins at 9:45 am. Students must stay until 11:00 and may stay until 11:15.
Students are required to be present only for the exams they have scheduled (e.g. if you have a first period class and a second period RP, you may leave for the day at 9:15/9:30).
Buses will run on their normal morning schedules and will depart from GRCHS at 11:20 am following the second exam.
Exam time changes are permitted only per individual teacher approval. Request forms are available in the office.
In the event of a snow day during exam week, administration will email an updated schedule to students.
Monday: 40 min. all classes schedule, NO LATE START
Tuesday: 1st and 2nd hr
Weds: 3rd and 4th hr
Thursday: 5th and 6th hr
Friday: 7th and 8th hr
Books must be turned in to teachers for single semester classes before you take your exam. You will not be permitted to take an exam if you have not turned in your books.
You should keep your books for any classes that are full year.

Activities & Clubs
The Eagle Links Club is hosting a Candy Cane Hunt in school on Friday
We will be hiding candy canes throughout the school and if you can find one of our special canes, you will get a prize! Just turn it in to Mrs. Hoving or Mr. DeKoster in the office. Happy hunting!
If you're interested in joining Food Club next semester, please come to Mr. Zietse's room during office hours for more information! We will be getting in the holiday season with a fun informal activity!

American Mathematics Competition (AMC)
Attention Mathletes! The AMC test will be held on Wednesday, February 5. If you would like to put your mathematical skills to the test against people around the country, this is your opportunity. Angel Tree 👼
This holiday season, you can brighten a child’s Christmas! If you desire to participate, take one or more of the tags from the Christmas tree by the office and purchase an appropriate gift for the child listed on the tag. Return the gift, unwrapped with the tag attached, to the boxes located by the tree. If you choose to purchase a gift card, please drop it off to Mrs. Petracek in Room 232. All gifts must be dropped off by Friday, December 13.

Schedule Change Request Forms are now available in the Counseling Office. Check the email you received last week for additional information about the schedule change process for second semester.

Open Skate ⛸
Fans, Families and Friends Of the Varsity Hockey Team - Come watch the varsity hockey team on Friday, December 20 vs Grand Haven at 6:00 p.m and then join us for an Open Skate immediately following.
This is will be a great way to start your Christmas vacation. Wear a Christmas sweater- ugly or otherwise and join the Christmas cheer of the season.
The Eagle Athletic Boosters have generously donated to this event so the first 100 skaters can skate for free, everyone after that will only have to pay $3 for skate rental. The concessions will be open for some hot cocoa, and we will have a wonderful time of fellowship skating and falling together!
