Good, NOW that your attention has been drawn to this paragraph, here's an announcement! Global Ambassadors and the Service Branch of StuCo are blessed to partner with the Moraes Family to raise funds for families needing food support near Sao Paulo, Brazil. Gabriel Moraes is a part of our GRCS community. In order to help with this ministry, we are selling ICE CREAM SANDWICHES and Minute Maid Lemonade BARS for 1$ on Tuesday, May 18th and Thursday, May 20th during both lunches. Spring Break in Paris

If you are still interested in spending 10 days of Spring Break 2022 in Paris at a hotel 1 block from the Eiffel Tower to see the sights in and around Paris, please stop by Room 114 or email Madame at rpotts@grcs.org for a brochure and more information. You still have time to get your application in for this. Adults are also allowed to travel, and you do not have to be a current French student to travel. Bon voyage!

Travel!

If you are still thinking about traveling over Winterim 2022, come to this Friday's Focus Time in the ISP office (room 202 by the prayer wall) and learn about how you might spend 12 days in Italy. Hope to see you there!

Part-time job with the football team

The football team is in need of 1-3 student managers to help organize equipment, film practice (with a camera and/or drone), potentially make highlight videos, and other activities to be determined. Hours would be in the morning during summer and after school in the fall. Students will be provided some Eagle football gear and will be involved on game days. Payment will likely be a stipend based on how much work is performed. Please email Coach Sundberg if interested at ksundberg@grcs.org or stop by room 220.

Want to welcome a little more Spain into your home?

Our GRCS community has the opportunity to welcome 8 students from Madrid, Spain for 8 weeks this next summer/fall. These students (9th and 10th graders) are excited to experience life in West Michigan! They want to live with an American family and attend classes here at GRCS for a few weeks. Are you interested in Spanish culture? Perhaps you are studying Spanish and enjoy hospitality. If so, then this could be a great opportunity for you and your family! Students will arrive in Grand Rapids on August 6 and depart in early October. Stop in the ISP office (room 202 by the Prayer Wall) to talk with Mrs. Williams for more information or have your parents contact Mrs. Williams at jwilliams@grcs.org or 616.574.5652.
