Activities & Clubs

Peer Listeners

The Peer Listeners are a group of juniors and seniors who are available at school to listen, welcome, and help students who might need it. We are once again looking for juniors to join our team. If you have a heart for serving your peers and you would like to be part of this group, we would love to hear from you. Please pick up an application from the front office, Mrs. Hoving or Mr. Padilla. Return completed applications and recommendations to the front office by Monday, September 26. Please See Mr. Padilla or Mrs. Hoving if you have any questions.

International Thespian Society

Have you been a part of a past GRCHS production? Have you taken a theatre class before? Then you might qualify to join the International Thespian Society, an internationally recognized honor society for theatre students. The International Thespian Society recognizes, rewards and encourages students achievement and celebrates the work of students in all aspects of theatre - performance and production. Each Thespian member is honored on a national level and gains access to opportunities and resources beyond our classroom walls. What to learn more? Sign up for our Focus Session on Tuesday, Sept. 20th. We will be meeting in the Black Box.

Biology/GIDSs Club

Are you interested in biology? Are you considering a career in the medical field? Are you looking for a place to hang out once a week during Focus? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, the GIDAs/Biology club might be for you!

GIDAs stands for Genes in Diseases and Symptoms and it is a branch of a bigger organization called miRcore. Due to its close partnership with the University of Michigan, you may also have the chance to participate in the Gene and Health Contest later this school year.

Come and learn more this Thursday during Focus! See you in Mr. Hoekstra’s room (#118).

Let's have some Ping Pong!

Join us in Lower Town Square on Wednesday. We begin at 3:00 pm and end at 4:30pm (stay as long you want; leave whenever you need to). If you have any questions, please contact Brian (23huangbr@grchristian.org).
