KCTC = Great Opportunities
Mtg. Monday, October 19 @ Focus B in room 221
10th and 11th graders
Have you wondered what KCTC is all about? KCTC (Kent Career Technical Center) has a number of pre-college programs that could help you sort out career path decisions during your last 2 years of high school. Many programs also offer college credit from local colleges such as GVSU, Ferris State, and GRCC, so they can be used as an option for dual enrollment.
Here are some of the many programs you could participate in:
- Automotive Careers in collision repair and technology
- Criminal Justice
- Engineering and Mechatronics
- Hospitality/Culinary Arts
- Health Careers (some courses directly through GVSU)
- Information Technologies
- 3D Animation and Game Design
- And many more…
Come to the FT meeting in room 221 (Focus B) on Monday, October 19, to hear all the details about what KCTC has to offer. You will also be hearing from students who currently participate in a KCTC program. See your counselor or Mrs. Crow in room 201 for more information.
