Iroquois Campus News

Some of the information below has been in previous bulletins but please review it again since it's all helpful and important information that will apply the whole school year.

Please contact the Office with any Questions

Morning Arrival Time

Students should NOT be at school before 7:45 am. The doors unlock at 7:45 am and that is also when playground supervision begins. Thank you for helping keep your kids safe and accounted for.

Car Line — After School

  • Please place the name sign in the front passenger window or clip it to your passenger visor and simply flip down the visor so the sign is visible through the windshield
  • Please do not exit your vehicle while in the car line. If necessary, please park in a lined space.
  • Please pull as far forward as possible. Teachers will help your child get in the car.

All of these simple things will help keep kids safe and will keep the car line moving.

Attendance

  • Please always notify the office if your child will be absent or late. This will help speed the process of accounting for each of our students in a timely manner.
  • Although it is helpful if you notify teachers by email about absences or late arrivals, it is essential that you notify the office.
  • Please note that preschool daily attendance is taken at the time of preschool drop-off. Any preschool absences or late arrivals should be directly communicated to your child's preschool classroom teacher.

Picking up/Dropping off Students During the School Day

If you need to pick up or drop off students once school is in session for the day, please park, enter the office, and sign your child in/out. We ask that you wear a mask whenever you enter the building.

Student Illness Policy

Please make sure that your child is symptom-free and fever-free without medication for 24 hours before returning to school. See full policy.

School Pictures

  • You may order online at inter-state.com/order with order code: 61765BB.
  • Retakes are scheduled for Monday, October 18. In the event that once you receive picture packets
you want retakes, plan to send the picture packet to school with your child on retake day.

Birthday Treats

  • Sending birthday treats is certainly not required, but if you choose to send treats to celebrate your child's birthday, please make note of the following — food treats should be:
    • individually wrapped
    • pre-packaged
    • store-bought
  • We encourage healthy options rather than sugary sweet
  • You are welcome to send non-edible prize type items rather than food

PTO News

Save the Date! Foot Frolic Frenzy is October 8!

Foot Frolic Frenzy is the PTO's biggest fundraiser of the year. The event is a lap-a-thon style fun run where each child runs laps on the track outside the school to raise money for field trips, classroom supplies, and special projects throughout the year. It's a great event! More information is coming home soon in your child's take-home folder. As with most things during covid, we are holding the details lightly as things might need to change as we get closer. Look for more information soon on how you can volunteer at the event!
