Evergreen Principal's Corner — May 19, 2020

Dear Evergreen Families,

Evergreen teachers are Christian leaders in our community.  Two of our Evergreen teachers will retire at the end of this school year, and we will miss them.

Mrs. Barb Kok loves Evergreen and has given years of dedicated service to the Evergreen students, families, and staff. She now plans to retire to spend more time with her family and to pursue other interests.  We are grateful for Mrs. Kok’s commitment to serving the needs of our Evergreen students and for her valued partnership with our teaching staff.

Mrs. Mary Witteveen retired at the end of last school year.  We quickly pulled her away from retirement before it even began!  Thank-you Mrs. Witteveen for teaching in Team One this past year.

We will miss both of these wonderful teachers.  I invite Evergreen students and families to write a note or draw a picture for each of these teachers and send it to school.  We will gather the notes and pictures and give them to Mrs. Kok and Mrs. Witteveen.

Remember today and always that God is our Rock.

The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.   — Psalm 18:2
