Evergreen Principal's Corner — November 3, 2020

Dear Evergreen Families,

We are a Christian community committed to praying for each other and caring for each other and for all of God’s people.  We pray for each other and with each other.  The Evergreen staff gathered after school last week Monday to talk and to pray.  We thanked God for our students and for our neighborhood, and we prayed for our school and for our neighbors.  We thanked God for safety and for the ability and desire to bring peace into our neighborhood and our world.

Evergreen teachers again paused for a few moments after school yesterday afternoon to pray together.  During our prayer together we thanked God for the Evergreen families as we anticipate and enjoy conversation with you during Parent-Teacher conferences.  We also prayed for our country’s leaders while acknowledging that we put our trust in God during this election week and every day and week of each year.

I treasure the partnership that we have in our Evergreen community.  Many of you contacted me last week to let me know that you pray for the Evergreen staff each day. Thank-you.  As a community, we are thankful that God holds all things together.

The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in Him, all things hold together. —Colossians 1:15-17
