Iroquois Principal's Corner — May 31, 2022
Here we are at the end of another year. WOW! It was a wild one, and I am beyond grateful for the partnership that has been established with all of you this school year. The parent and school partnership, when strong, is how children learn and grow in their knowledge and love for Jesus, for learning, and for community. Thank you so much for your support and partnership for kids!
The end of the school year is always hard. One of the best parts of my job is seeing your kids each day. Their smiles, their energy, and their desire to connect are all things that make us adults better. As school ends, the hallways empty, the artwork is removed, and the joy and energy of our young people are off on vacation. I really miss seeing kids here at school over the summer.
That all being said, there is the hope of a new school year on the way! Plans and preparations are being made that are designed to optimally teach and guide your children in the best possible way. We know there are celebrations, and we know there will be challenges. God’s presence is in this place and is with us through it all. What a great hope we have as we look to a new school year.
I want to give a BIG thanks to our teachers and staff here at Iroquois. God has placed them here for your children. He has empowered them to work hard and have a deep love and care for kids. We are so blessed to have our kids learn from wonderful people who love Jesus, love to teach, and love to care for kids. Join me in giving praise to God for our wonderful Iroquois teachers and staff.
In closing, I hope your summer is so wonderful. I hope you are all safe, and healthy, and can recharge and refresh. Your children will be missed so much, and yet I’m thrilled they can have some new adventures this summer. Blessings to you all, and thank you for all of your partnership and support. Take care and have a fantastic summer!
