Rockford Principal's Corner — March 2, 2021

This week I was talking with a prospective family who asked, “Is there anything you notice about students who are successful at Rockford Christian?” I needed a beat to consider the question — so many students, regardless of their learning style, interests, or abilities, find success here.

A common thread, however, might be the importance of a strong partnership between home and school. I shared with the family about how I’ve witnessed the many ways teachers and parents work together to support students in finding academic success and spiritual growth.

We recently completed our February Parent-Teacher Conferences, and it's worth celebrating the engagement and care seen in our community. Many teachers made a point to mention to me how well conferences went; they appreciated the opportunity to pray with parents and share about what’s going on at school.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support! As we pray for the continued improvement of the pandemic, we look forward to finding ways to safely bring parents back to school.

In Him,

— Ben Buursma
