Students and their parents will be presented with curriculum and course options for 9th grade, have an opportunity to ask questions and meet with their assigned counselor to select classes for their freshman year. A Note From Outdoor Education
Robert Frost claimed that in New England, there were five seasons and not four. The fifth he called, "Mudtime" and it occurs annually between winter and spring. I would assert that what is true for New England is also true here at RCS. Welcome to it!
Our Pop Can/Spare Change Project was successful in March. We tallied the $127.61 that we sent to Bridge Street Ministries. This month we are collecting for David's House Ministries, where our old friend Mr. Dave lives. This Christian organization serves as a foster home for adults who have some sort of impairment that restricts them from living on their own. So far, we have totaled $61.11 already! Thank you! (As a side note, this project has earned approximately $1,200.00 since the beginning of the school year and 100% of that money has gone to various ministries!)
Virtual Thank You Notes:
- To our Sixth–graders who have built two more bridges for our flooded nature trail. Thank you!
- To our Fifth–graders who are now trained naturalists ready to show people around our trail
- To our Fourth–graders who have developed various ideas for an OE logo
- To our Second–graders who are striving to grow marigolds
- To our Kindergarteners who are now experts on pushing and pulling (they even pushed a truck!)

RCS TRIP Office
The TRIP Office is available on Tuesday mornings in the RCS Office!
New to TRIP? TRIP allows you to reduce the cost of tuition by purchasing gift cards and gift certificates for things you buy every day from hundreds of national and local vendors.
How does TRIP work? When you purchase gift cards at face value, a percentage of your purchase is credited to your TRIP account. Two times per year (November 1 and May 1), the accumulated TRIP credits are applied as payment to your tuition account, or donated to the tuition account you have designated.
Parents in Prayer
We have a unique opportunity to gather as moms, dads, and grandparents to pray for our school — little siblings are welcome too!
Parents In Prayer will be meeting on Wednesday mornings after drop-off. We will again be meeting outside and walking around the campus. We will follow the guidelines given by the Moms in Prayer organization. You can find the resources that we will use here.
We look forward to having many parents join us this year!
