Please send a water bottle to school!

Parents, please remember to send a water bottle to school with your student each day. The water bottle fillers are in operation.  Students need to drink lots of water — especially with the warmer weather arriving and after outdoor ed, gym class, and break. Thank you!

Face Coverings

Please remember to send your student with a face covering, and an extra in the backpack would be great!

Outdoor Education News

Let it be officially noted that “Day of First Snake” has been declared for 2021! On March 24, Mason (2nd Grade) found our first snake of the year! That means spring is now here!

So with spring here, do you have any decent lumber or railroad ties or cinder block that is lying around? If you are willing to drop off such items behind the bus garage in the coming week, we just might be able to use them in some projects that are on the horizon! Thank you!

This is the final week to apply our Pop Can and Spare Change collection to Paws with a Cause. So far we have collected $115.72! Keep it coming!

Moms, Dads, Grandparents in Prayer

We will meet outdoors, wearing masks, walking, and praying in groups of 2-3.

Here is a link to the mobile prayer sheets. You can use the listed link to pray for your children anytime: momsinprayer.org/group-leaders.

Please consider volunteering as you are able. Kids LOVE seeing loved ones during recess. You can sign up by clicking on Sign-Up Genius.

Sports Physicals

Current 8th-11th graders planning to play sports at Grand Rapids Christian High School in the 2021-2022 school year need to have an MHSAA physical form on file with the high school athletic office before they are allowed to participate. A valid physical for 2021-22 must be completed any time after April 15, 2021.

You may turn in the completed physical to the GRCHS athletic office by mail or email (to cgroendyk@grcs.org) as soon as you finish it, even if it is before the end of this school year or during the summer. You may print out a physical form here.

This form must be completed with all signatures in order to participate in sports at GRCHS. You may attach your doctor’s office physical form for the doctor portion of this form but the parent portion and all signatures need to be completed on this form.
