A Note From Outdoor Education

The OE Department of RCS would like to remind you of a few items:

  • Our Pop Can and Spare Change Project will benefit Kids Food Basket this month. Please bring in those cans, bottles, and whatever spare change you can contribute.
  • Our theme this month is “The Amazing Great Lakes.” Check out the RCS Parent Facebook group for some fascinating facts that will make you sound really smart!
  • Firestarters are for sale in the office - only $5 per dozen. They make great Christmas presents!
  • Boots and gloves! Boots and gloves! Boots and gloves! OE doesn’t stop just because it is a bit chilly outside and a child left the proper clothing at home. Please make sure your student is dressed for success when coming to OE!

From the Music Department

On Monday, December 6th we welcome all of our 5th-8th grade families to the RCS worship center for a band, choir, and orchestra concert. We will enjoy an evening of song and instrumental music to help us enter the Christmas season. The concert will begin at 7:00 pm, and performers are asked to arrive at 6:30 pm. Our students are excited to share their Christmas music with you!  We look forward to seeing you there!
