RCS families are encouraged to decorate their cars! RCS teachers will be “lining the drive” to wish our families a healthy and safe summer.

GRPS Grab and Go Meal Sites

The free meals will be a breakfast/lunch combo and are available for all students 18 years of age and younger. This includes students with disabilities age 18-26 with an active individual education program (IEP).

The meals are not limited to GRPS students, and students do not need to be present to pick up meals. The free meals are for anyone, you do NOT need to be free or reduced eligible to receive these meals.

Laptop Sale

GRCS will be selling 4-year-old student laptops on Friday, May 29 from 8:00 - 1:00 at GRCHS. These 11.6" MacBook Airs are a mid-2015 model with 4GB ram, a 1.6GHz Intel dual-core i5 processor, and a 128GB solid-state drive with the latest operating system, Catalina. The cost is $250 each. Laptops are sold as-is with no support.

Athletics + Youth Sports

Sports Physicals

Current 8th-11th graders planning to play sports at Grand Rapids Christian High School in 2020-21 school year need to have an MHSAA physical form on file with the high school athletic office before they are allowed to participate. A valid physical for 2020-21 must be completed any time after April 15, 2020.

You may turn in the completed physical to the GRCHS athletic office by mail or email (to cgroendyk@grcs.org) as soon as you finish it, even if it is before the end of this school year or during the summer. You may print out a physical form here.  

This form must be completed with all signatures in order to participate in sports at GRCHS.  You may attach your doctor’s office physical form for the doctor portion of this form but the parent portion and all signatures need to be completed on this form. 

Fall Recreation Programs are Open for Registration!  

Assuming sporting events are allowed this Fall, GRCS Recreation Programs are online at www.grcs.org/youthsports.  We have some new and exciting ones planned!

• Rocket Football: 3rd-8th grade
• Boys Basketball Clinic: 5th-8th grade
• Boys Tennis: 3rd & 4th grade
• Learn to Play & Skills/Drills Girls Lacrosse: K-8th grade
• NEW — Fall Coed Bowling: 5th-8th grade
• PurePlay Soccer: Registration through Ada Christian at adachristian.wufoo.com/forms/pf3aitd159yr8j/
• NEW — Coed Tball: 4-7 years
• Coed Youth Sports Performance 101: 3rd-8th grade
• NEW — Fall Boys Lacrosse: 3rd-8th grade

• Girls Softball Pitching/Hitting: 5th-8th grade

Register at www.grcs.org/youthsports.  Your password AND username is your email address.  Online will be open on June 12.  Paper forms or email forms may be sent at any time.  Full refunds will be given if programs are canceled.
