This presentation is for parents and caregivers who want to know how they can help their child who may be experiencing anxiety to a point where it is interfering with their quality of life and disrupting their ability to function at their best. The presentation will include an overview of common anxiety disorders, signs to look to for that may indicate high levels of anxiety, and simple coping skills to help reduce and manage anxiety. The Anxiety Resource Center presenter, Lynda Rupke, is a high school counselor and also has a private practice. She has over 15 years of experience counseling teens and facilitates the weekly teen support group at the Anxiety Resources Center (ARC).

Technology is a great thing — if used responsibly.  But, digital issues like pornography, predators, sexting, social media, screen time, cyberbullying, anxiety, depression concern many families.  Although many kids use technology well, Chris McKenna and the Protect Young Eyes team want to make sure families are prepared. They will unpack nine practical, actionable strategies families can implement as soon as they get home.  These strategies are presented through a strong, Biblical lens.  Regardless of your technology aptitude, you will feel equipped an encouraged when you leave.
