Evergreen Principal's Corner

Dear Evergreen Families,

Two of our wonderful preschool staff members will not be returning to Evergreen next school year. Grace Bakker and Julie Bouman both love Evergreen. They love the students, families, and staff and will miss the Evergreen Community. These two excellent Christian teachers embraced the Evergreen pillars of inquiry learning, multi-age classrooms, and a balanced calendar. They faithfully and lovingly nurtured the preschool children at Evergreen. We are sad to see Mrs. Bakker and Mrs. Bouman leave their current positions at Evergreen, but we will celebrate with both of them as they look forward to new opportunities.

Mrs. Dominique VanHill who served as the substitute teacher in the preschool classroom during the second semester will come back next fall as the preschool teacher at Evergreen. Also, we will welcome Mrs. Ingrid Speulstra, an experienced preschool aide, to assist Mrs. VanHill in preschool. Mrs. Kathryn Breuninger will continue working in a preschool as the lunchtime aide.
