Evergreen Principal's Corner

Evergreen students eagerly anticipate Thursday afternoon each week as they look forward to meeting with their multi-age teams during Team Time.  

On Thursday, October 31 Evergreen staff members launched an exciting new project with their Team Time groups. Teachers and students are working together to create An Evergreen Christian Team Time Novel.  This project weaves the theme, God is My Rock, into a book as students work together to develop seven exciting chapters.  

Each of the seven Team Time leaders plans learning activities for one of the seven chapters and each of the Team Time groups will spend two weeks exploring and developing each chapter.  The chapters focus on different topics, activities, and leading questions. During this Team Time project students are deeply involved in inquiry learning as they focus on Bible, Geology, Geography, Music and so much more.  

Evergreen students are busy doing research, interviewing other students, developing videos, and reflecting on how they can celebrate and thank God for being our rock. We will look forward to sharing An Evergreen Christian Team Time Novel later this year after much inquiry learning and exploration during our Thursday afternoon Team Time sessions.
