The Peace of Christmas

As our semester comes to an end, I want to thank you for all the ways that you supported us at GRCHS this past semester. We are so grateful for your partnership and your prayers as we educate our students and prepare them for lives of service.

At our faculty meeting this past Monday, we prayed that during this advent season we might feel the peace of Christ and appropriately share that with our students. We realize that this time of year isn't always peaceful for our students as they finish up projects and prepare for exams next week.

We are thankful that at Grand Rapids Christian High, we can hold students to high standards and challenge them in the classroom. However, we are more thankful that we can teach them that their identity is not found in their accomplishments or failures, but rather in Jesus Christ. We pray that our students experience the peace and freedom this Christmas season that can only come from knowing Jesus.

I wish you all God's blessings during this holiday season. I look forward to seeing you all for Winterim in 2019!
