Rockford Principal's Corner - April 30, 2019
Dear Friends of Rockford Christian:
Last Friday evening, RCS held its Auction for the Ages. Through the efforts of parents, grandparents, teachers, and friends, the PTO was able to raise $70,000 to support the school. Raising this significant amount of money is spectacular. Thanks to all who helped support this event through both donations and purchasing.
Additional thanks goes out to Eric Burgess, who MC'd the event, to Ben Buursma (the new principal) for traveling with his wife Becky to attend, and to Ray Kloostra, the auctioneer. A very special and heartfelt thanks to Becky Sims, Megan Sencia and Allison Breuker for the many hours spent coordinating this great event.
Alongside the money raised, there is another blessing, however. That blessing is shown in the faithfulness of the RCS community to love and support this school. It is good to be part of something good. It is good to be blessed and be a blessing.
