Rockford Christian Principal's Corner

Rockford Principal's Corner — March 31, 2020

At Rockford Christian, it is fairly safe to assume that the folks in our community choose to be a part of it. With great public schools in our area, why would do families make this choice? A Christian education, after all, requires an investment.

I don’t pretend to know why each of our families has committed to Rockford Christian, but it is my hope that they resonate deeply with our mission to prepare students as effective servants of Christ.

As we navigate off-campus learning, that mission has not changed. In fact, I have been blown away by the ways our teachers and families have lived into our mission as servants of Christ. I have read countless emails and texts of encouragement and support. Questions like “How can I support you?” and “What do you need?” are commonplace.

Teachers have provided meaningful learning opportunities for their students, yet I keep thinking that the most important lesson students will learn from this is how to show up for one another when times are uncertain.

I pray you and your family have felt the support of Rockford Christian and continue to see the value of an education rooted in service to Christ.

In Him,
—Ben
