After the opening session, you will have the opportunity to attend up to 3 breakout sessions.  See the list of what is offered below.

Grade Levels

Meet our grade level staff, hear about a brief overview of curriculum, and learn about the highlights of the school year in grades 5 — 8.

Faith Formation

Listen to how we integrate faith into every subject.  Hear more about our Bible classes, chapels, and how our school theme comes alive each year both inside and outside the classroom.

Fine Arts Education

Serving All Learners

Come learn how we help all of our students succeed at GRCMS.  Educational Support Services staff will describe how they meet the needs of many different learners and celebrate the gifts and abilities of each student.  They will also give a brief overview of the Academically Talented program.

Spanish Immersion

This session is designed for current Grand Rapids Christian Spanish Immersion students and parents and also for those currently enrolled in a Spanish Immersion program who are interested in transferring to GRCMS.  learn about the transition from 4th grade to 5th grade Spanish Immersion and what's ahead for grades 6, 7, and 8


Technology is a critical tool in implementing our mission of preparing students to be servants of Christ in contemporary society.  Learn more about our one-to-one MacBook initiative and educational technology goals.

World Language

Explore the Spanish program at GRCMS.  5th and 6th grade students will study Spanish language and culture as part of the required curriculum.  Students who successfully complete 7th and 8th grade Spanish are eligible to receive one year of World Language credit at Grand Rapids Christian High School.
