Black Tie Blue Jeans, Grand Rapids Christian’s new signature fundraising event, impacts every student through the Eagles Fund. The Eagles Fund has committed $1.7 million for Student Support Services, financial aid, and additional programs this school year. With your help, we hope to raise $550,000 toward this goal at Black Tie Blue Jeans.
Black Tie Blue Jeans means dress up, come in blue jeans, or a little of both!

KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Laurie Veldheer,
Class of 2004
After graduating from Grand Rapids Christian High School, Laurie went on to Penn State where she received her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre. Laurie then moved to New York City, made her Broadway debut in the Newsies ensemble, and went on to play the role of Sophie Sheridan in Mamma Mia! She is currently on tour with Into the Woods. Laurie will use her musical talents to share her story in a cabaret-style performance.
