Grand Rapids Christian Schools is the largest private, association-governed school system in Michigan. We serve over 2,300 preschool - high school students throughout the metro Grand Rapids and Rockford area. Our schools include:

Dedicated Christian teachers promote rigorous learning in enthusiastic and creative ways to develop hearts and minds for Christ. They help students become well-rounded, Christ-centered individuals who use their God-given talents and abilities to further the kingdom of God.

Academics
We integrate Christian faith into every aspect of learning so that students see God at work and learn to apply Christian principles to every area of their lives. Our comprehensive and challenging curriculum meets the needs of students at all grade levels and compares competitively with any other Kent County schools.

  • Grand Rapids Christian High School was named an “Exemplary Secondary School” by the United States Department of Education and is widely recognized for its excellent academics, quality fine arts programs, outstanding athletics and culture of faith.
  • Christian High is accredited by the North Central Association - "AdvancED" of Colleges and Secondary Schools and offers a growing list of Advanced Placement and Honors classes.
  • The average ACT score for our high school students in 2012 (latest stats available) was 23.5.
  • In the last five years, Grand Rapids Christian High School has produced 23 finalists and 20 commended students from the National Merit Program.
  • 94% of GRCHS graduates continue on to college.
  • Nearly $1 million in college academic scholarships was awarded to more than 200 graduating seniors.
