ADVANCED PLACEMENT
In 2019, 327 students took 633 Advanced Placement Exams in 15 subject areas. Students earned at least one score of three or higher in 79% of AP exams. This far exceeds state and national averages of 65% and 61%, respectively.
AP Scholaris granted to students who receive a 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams. 55 GRCHS students earned AP Scholar recognition.
AP Scholar with Honoris granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. 29 GRCHS students were recognized with this honor.
AP Scholar with Distinction is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams. 43 GRCHS students received this honor.
National AP Scholaris granted to students in the US who receive an average score of at least 4 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams. Two GRCHS students were recognized with this honor.
