The J. Herman Fles Society was established to recognize the generosity of individuals who have made a planned gift, either during their lifetime or through their will or estate plan, to Grand Rapids Christian Schools. The society is named in honor of J. Herman Fles, who established the Foundation in 1965 and was its first donor and board president. The society meets annually for a luncheon and report on the Grand Rapids Christian School Foundation.
